2 day Saturday and Sunday Class. These courses will teach you the fundamentals on how to maintain and operate your AR or AK platform carbine. Each shooter will learn to break down their carbine to perform field maintenance and cleaning, and learn to correctly re-assemble their weapon. We will discuss operations of your carbine, add-on equipment, optics and iron sights, and ammunition selection. Students will be able to adjust the sights to zero their carbine and understand the principles of zeroing any other carbine that they may pick up. We will focus on supported shooting positions to build confidence and accuracy, and ensure the proper fundamentals are instilled for later courses. With a curriculum derived from military and law enforcement carbine training, shooters will be guided through weapons manipulations designed to increase comfort level and confidence in carbine operations taught by a seasoned military instructor. Focusing on the fundamentals with on the spot coaching, individual assessments and corrective action as needed, each participant will leave this course with the knowledge, skills, and ability to be safely and accurately operate their carbine.

Each shooter will perfect advanced supported and unsupported firing positions and learn to build a stable shooting platform in non-standard shooting situations. On the spot coaching, individual assessments and corrective action will be provided as needed by a seasoned military instructor. With a curriculum derived from military carbine training, shooters will be guided through weapons manipulation and immediate action drills designed to increase the shooter’s ability to handle malfunctions in-stride. Each participant will leave with the knowledge, skills, and ability to be rapidly establish a stable shooting platform and make first-round hits from multiple positions, ranges, and shooting situations. We will also begin training to enhance your ability to make rapid close and mid-range shots with a focus on accuracy and speed.
